The 2024 edition brought researchers and professionals together to examine how African academics and scholars can contribute through research and engagement to complex development challenges, including inequality and poverty, unemployment, public health, geopolitical conflicts, climate change and human rights. The programme used a multidisciplinary lens and included academic and industry speakers, early-career researchers, oral presentations, paper development workshops, CV and interview technique workshops.
